I like to think of this photo as my mad scientist mugshot. I'm not a mad scientist yet but soon, very soon.... Okay, I'm totally kidding. But I will be getting a Ph.D. in chemical physics. To that end, I'm socking away about half of each paycheck so that I'll be able to quit my job and go to grad school full time. I work for a large distributor as an operations manager. The pay's really good but I'd rather staple my eyelids to my forehead with a croquet wicket than do it the rest of my life. I spend most of my free time pushing myself to be a better artist. My usual genera is hyperrealism. It's the best way to develop technical virtuosity and it's the best meditation in town.
